This Privacy Policy explains how Psych LM handles information in the app, on this website, and through support communications.
Psych LM may store chats, profile details, memory records, goals, plans, questionnaire answers, settings, summaries, reports, and exported files in local app storage on your device.
The app is designed so this content is used to provide self-guided reflection, planning, journaling, goal support, and coaching-style conversation. It is not a medical record, clinical record, diagnosis, or treatment plan.
If you export data, share screenshots, print reports, send files, use backups, or contact support, the information you choose to share may leave local app storage. Exports may be human readable and may contain sensitive personal information.
If you email support, we may receive your email address, message, device and app details you provide, attachments, screenshots, logs, and any other information you include. We use support communications to respond to your request, troubleshoot issues, maintain the app, and improve documentation.
If you install Psych LM through the App Store, Apple may process device, diagnostic, crash, analytics, account, and storefront information under Apple's own terms and privacy policies. Psych LM does not control Apple's systems.
This website may be hosted with GitHub Pages or another web host. The host may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser, request time, page URL, and logs needed to deliver and secure the site.
You can manage app data through in-app settings, device storage controls, backups, export tools, import tools, and deletion/reset flows where available. Deleting the app, resetting data, changing devices, changing backups, or restoring data may permanently affect your local records.
Psych LM is not emergency care, crisis support, medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, or a substitute for a qualified professional. If you or another person may be in danger, call emergency services immediately. In the United States, call 911 for emergencies or 988 for crisis support.
Psych LM is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the app if you are not old enough to consent under the laws that apply to you.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app, website, legal requirements, or support process changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when this version took effect.
